AL1VE MAGNETICS is an active accessory brand launched in 2012, with initial product development focused on compression gear that incorporates magnetic technology to optimize athletic performance.
My design work for this launch included not only the product assortment and graphics, but logo development, color story, packaging concept, linesheets and production tech packs.
As a seasoned activewear designer, I am knowledgeable about performance fabrics and silhouettes, able to spot trends in fabrication, function, and color, and experienced in designing innovative, salable product relevant to the current fitness and athletic marketplace.
Here are marketing materials I created to communicate performance features of technical fabrics, paired with concept boards and product assortments incorporating the technology. All of these layouts were used as selling tools in sales meetings.
Everlast Sport for girls was launched at Kmart in 2015, in response to the growing activewear market and that demand reaching the kidswear business. The initial range was tight and focused, with key item silhouettes in bright colors.
As designer for Everlast Sport girls activewear exclusively at Kmart, I researched and shopped the market, identified trends, key items and growth opportunities, and designed a seasonal apparel assortment to meet the needs of the client's active lifestyle.
Piper is a girls brand characterized by bright colors, bold prints, and trendy silhouettes. Here is a summer fashion story, with inspiration and direction for color, fabric, and artwork.
Route 66 is a fashion forward girls brand with a bohemian identity and anchored by denim bottoms. I created these decks to convey research, concept, and design direction to merchant and management leaders, prior to designing the retail collection.
Based on the success of launching Everlast Sport in Spring 2015, the Fall and Holiday deliveries shown here sought to build on the success of proven silhouettes by bringing in new colors of strong sellers. These volume styles looked fresh when merchandised with positive graphics, trend-right prints, and seasonal layering pieces.
This trend report takes a comprehensive look not only at color and fashion, but at the cultural elements that feed into and help create a particular trend, including social media, stores, and lifestyle elements.
Every season, inspirational images along with print and graphic direction create a unique story and color palette for each brand identity.
